Case 137:   Metastasis - Ovarian Cancer

Clinical Presentation:

30 year old woman with peritoneal carcinomatosis secondary to ovarian carcinoma, receiving peritoneal chemotherapy.

CT: Peritoneal capsular metastases

Imaging Findings:

Portal venous phase CT shows numerous hypoattenuating masses along the surface of the liver, extending along the falciform ligament and along gallbladder fossa, representing diffuse capsular metastases. Note that the larger ones mimic an intrahepatic location. Duodenal stent and gastrostomy tubes in place.
