Case 259: Angiomyolipoma

Clinical Presentation:

36 year old woman with incidentally found liver lesions on ultrasound done to evaluate left upper quadrant pain. One of these lesions in the left lobe is shown on the images below.

US: Small, echogenic

Imaging Findings:

Ultrasound shows echogenic angiomyolipoma within the left lobe of the hypoechoic liver parenchyma on the left. On the right side of both images adjacent to the liver is the spleen, which has the same echotexture as the mass.
