Case 289: Angiomyolipoma

Clinical Presentation:

26 year old man with tuberous sclerosis.

CT: Without solid enhancing components

Imaging Findings:

Multiphase CT of the liver shows an hepatic angiomyolipoma in hepatic segment 4B.  Unenhanced image demonstrates a well defined fat attenuating lesion, which does not enhance upon contrast administration.  No solid enhancing components are present.  Both kidneys show bilateral angiomyolipomas, with some solid enhancing components.
