Case 38:   Metastasis - Colorectal Cancer

Clinical Presentation:

66 year old man presents for staging of rectal adenocarcinoma.

CT: Small, with fbrosis and calcifications, not treated

Imaging Findings:

Multiphase CT reveals a solitary small calcified liver metastasis in segment 7 with progressive enhancement on the equilibrium phase, indicating fibrotic (desmoplastic) stroma components. Surgical pathology confirmed metastasis from colon cancer.
