Case 58:   Focal Nodular Hyperplasia (FNH)

Clinical Presentation:

35 year old women with incidental finding in the liver.

CT: Typical, with feeding arteries

Imaging Findings:

CT shows exophytic FNH in segment 6. Typical homogeneously hypervascular enhancement and large central scar. Note two dominant feeding arteries, the medial one (arrows) leading to the central scar. Anteriorly is a thin pseudocapsule (arrowheads), which is often seen in FNH. The pseudocapsule in FNH is often thinner than in HCC.
