Case 63: Hamartoma, mesenchymal
10 month-old girl with progressive abdominal distention.
Ultrasound (not shown) had revealed a cystic mass. Large, predominantly cystic mass within the abdomen is intimately associated with the liver and displaces the majority of the bowel towards the left. The border of the mass is somewhat irregular and there is suggestion of internal septations. The mass is centered in the left abdomen but extends inferiorly into the pelvis.
