Case 84: Hepatoblastoma
One year old boy who was found to have a large right-sided abdominal mass on a well-child exam.
CT: Central scar
Classic large hypervascular hepatoblastoma in segment 5/6 confirmed by resection. Note central scar, but no washout of contrast on the portal venous phase, shown at different levels. No equilibrium phase was obtained as this was a pediatric CT protocol. The portal and hepatic veins are displaced, but not invaded by the largely exophytic mass.
