Case 85: Hepatoblastoma
2 1/2 year old boy with a distended abdomen.
CT: Typical, with vascular invasion
There is a heterogeneous enhancing, large mass occupying almost the entire right hepatic lobe. Multiple areas of low attenuation are noted within, likely related to necrosis. Scattered nodular calcific densities are present. The right hepatic vein and the posterior branch of the right portal vein are not well visualized, and possibly invaded vs. extremely narrowed by the mass.
