Case list for Alveolar Soft Tissue Sarcoma
There is 1 CT case with this diagnosis.
CT shows a solitary well defined hypervascular sarcoma with peripheral circumferential and central stellate calcifications. There was suggestion of central scar like appearence which showed some delayed enhancement and minimal delayed washout of the remaining lesion. Appearance simulated fibrolamellar carcinoma in this young patient. No macroscopic fat was noted. Biopsy was initially suggestive of angiomyolipoma or PEComa. However after extensive work up with immunohistocytochemical stains, a final diagnosis of "alveolar soft tissue sarcoma" was made. No primary mass was found elsewhere in the body.
